Centra Check-in Session:
Fall 2009 Semester
August 19, 2009, 5:00-7:00 pm (EDT)

The Check-In Session is your opportunity to log in and test your computer for Centra classes in a live session before the semester begins. You will need a headset with an attached microphone or speakers and a microphone to fully test your system.

To attend the Check-In Session, you will log in differently than your normal Centra login:

1. Click on this Check-In Session link. (Opens in a new window)

2. Enter your email address when prompted and click Attend. If you are asked for your first, last and display name (the name shown on the screen), enter those and click Attend again.

3. When the Centra class window opens (this may take a minute or two), the Audio Wizard will open on top of the class window. Follow the instructions to test your audio.

4. The technical support person who is presenting the session will greet you. Other people may already be in the room so please be patient. You can click the Hand icon in the toolbar to let us know you are present. You will be asked if you can hear and speak in session. You will be free to close the window when you want.

5. If you have any questions or problems during the Check-In Session, call 704-687-3605 for assistance (this number is available only during the Check-In Session).
